FIND YOUR VILLAGE
Foundational quote for image generation:
“I’m living my life authentically. I don’t have to hide anymore. I’m being embraced for who I am, and the beautiful thing about being authentic, you find your village. You think that you’re alone, but eventually, like a magnet, you just start attracting everyone you’re supposed to.”
This surreal image features a face formed by intricate patterns, with dreamlike structures like floating castles, trees, and celestial bodies emerging from it. The colors shift from darker tones on the left to warm, golden hues on the right, symbolizing a journey from darkness to light.
As part of Steven McCoy’s journey navigating the complexities of Usher’s syndrome and self-discovery, this abstract image symbolizes the flourishing of his true identity and the supportive community he attracted by living authentically.
POUR IN THE LOVE
Foundational quote for image generation:
“I had to do a lot of thought analysis and I did that during Covid. I really had to fix my thoughts — it was time to pull all the ugly out and start pouring in the love. And as I continued to drink that water of love and pouring into my thoughts, I was allowing myself to release anyone who did not want to be in my life. and I did that by just being.”
The image is a captivating piece of artwork featuring a large, central heart that is black with concentric circles radiating outward. These circles transition into vibrant colors as they move away from the center of the heart, blending into a spectrum of blues, reds, yellows, and other hues, creating a rainbow-like effect. The background is a stark contrast of black, sprinkled with white dots that resemble stars in a night sky, giving the impression of the heart existing in a cosmic space.
Dripping from the top are shapes that suggest molten lava or wax, in a gradient from yellow to red, appearing to be either descending towards the heart or emanating from it. These drips add a dynamic element to the piece, as if the heart is transforming or being influenced by an external force. Small, circular accents in a vertical line connect the heart to these drips, symbolizing a flow or exchange between the heart and the universe above it.
The concentric circles can be seen as the layers of thought and emotion that Steven has worked through, and as they radiate outward, they become infused with color and life, symbolizing the transformative process of self-love. The vibrant rainbow hues represent the beauty and diversity of life experiences and emotions that become more apparent as one allows love to enter and fill the voids of self-doubt and negativity.
The drips from above, with their intense colors of passion and energy, could signify the “water of love” that Steven mentions in his quote, which he has used to cleanse his thoughts and revitalize his spirit. The circular accents are the moments of realization and release, the points where Steven has decided to let go of those who do not add value to his life.
By “just being,” Steven emphasizes the power of presence and authenticity. This image captures that sentiment beautifully, with the heart at the center, symbolizing Steven’s essence, surrounded by the transformative energies that have shaped his journey toward self-acceptance, resilience, and the art of living with grace despite the challenges posed by his condition.
TAKE TIME TO BLOOM
Foundational quote for image generation:
“ To the people out there who are always giving their time and attention to others, what are you doing for yourself? You are a person. You deserve your time and attention as well. And when I took that time, and worked on myself, I truly flourished. It was like a flower blooming, and truthfully, my career bloomed in a way that I never I never would have imagined.”
This image depicts a large, intricate flower with delicate petals rendered in soft shades of white and gray. The flower’s center is rich with detail, featuring complex layers of petals blossoming. Interwoven among the petals, one can see elements of mechanical clockwork blending natural beauty with the theme of time. The juxtaposition of the organic flower representing McCoy’s transformation combined with the and industrial elements of time creates a striking and thought-provoking visual.
